Megan Fox attended Coachella but wanted to see a few more names in addition to the 2024 lineup.
During a new interview with E! News, Fox listed acts she would love to see headline at the Coachella festival. Two of those names were her ‘twin soul’ MGK and Guns N’ Roses:
“Well, obviously, I have to say Machine Gun Kelly. I’m not in the modern era, so I would say, Guns N’ Roses.”
She added another name:
“You know who I would love to see, is Weezer. Weezer’s so fire.”
MGK Was Banned From Coachella
Right before the 2024 festival started on April 12, Machine Gun Kelly revealed on X that he’s never actually been to Coachella because he banned him years ago for ‘whatever reason.’ On a recent X post, MGK clarified that he wouldn’t be at Coachella this year. He also added that he didn’t know why he was banned from it back in 2012.
Though MGK isn’t exactly sure why he’s banned, there’s a chance it could be related to his post back in 2012. In the X post, he criticized Coachella and called it ‘corporate as f*ck’:
“Coachella is a huge joke. It’s corporate as f*ck and they only accept the accepted but fake like they don’t. Sad that music is so trendy now.”
The singer is not going to this year’s Coachella because his daughter’s volleyball tournament ended on the same day. He wrote that he did want to see the festival, but family came first.
Who Headlined Coachella 2024?
Lana Del Rey, Doja Cat, and Tyler, The Creator are the headliners of the festival this year. The two-weekend event features a No Doubt reunion with performances from names like Sabrina Carpenter, Blur, Sublime, Bleachers, Grimes, and more.
