Sebastian Bach’s new song, ‘(Hold On) To The Dream,’ did better on the charts than Mötley Crüe’s new release, ‘Dogs of War,’ and Pearl Jam’s new record, ‘Wreckage.’
The singer shared Heavy 1 Radio’s Top 20 singles list and wrote:
“I HAVE NO WORDS. This is the first time I have been Number One on ANY chart since the year 1991. To be #1 on a chart with Mötley Crüe, Judas Priest, Pearl Jam, Bon Jovi, Linkin Park, Slash, Black Crowes & more? I mean what can I even say? I honestly did not know this was still possible. But here you go. Eddie Trunk, how is about this dude!!!! Salut mes amis mon frere at Heavy One Radio France! Cannot explain how overjoyed I am at seeing this chart. You have impeccable taste!”
Previously when the song arrived, Eddie Trunk shared it on his X account and said:
“KILLER stuff.”
Bach saw his comment and replied to the radio personality:
“Thank you, Eddie Trunk. I respect your opinion. So this means a lot, thanks.”
Fans Attacked Bach’s New Release
Although ‘(Hold On) To The Dream’ was successful on the charts and got praise from Trunk, not all the fans liked the rocker’s new single. When a user wrote on X that Bach’s voice didn’t sound as well as it used to, the musician responded:
“It’s a good thing that you are a moron. Tell us all how Elvis Baskette and Robert Ludwig use autotune. Hilarious how stupid you are.”
Another fan also criticized Sebastian’s new solo effort saying that people only want to hear his old hits. Bach responded by stating that his new song is also a hit and added:
“1 million views is a hit song. I’m sorry to inform you.”
The vocalist’s first album in 10 years, ‘Child Within the Man,’ will drop on May 10. The record features guitarists John 5, Steve Stevens, and Orianthi. Bach will support his new album with a North American tour. It starts on May 10 in Jefferson, Louisiana, and will continue until the end of June.
