Marilyn Manson signed a new record deal with Nuclear Blast, who works with Rob Zombie and Anthrax.
The singer announced the news on his official Instagram account with a post. Nuclear Blast Records also shared the same post on their page. Manson’s teaming up with the label happened shortly after rumors about him finishing a new album. He hasn’t put out any new music since his ‘We Are Chaos’ album in 2020.
He’s about to release new music for the first time since sexual abuse allegations paused his career. He shared a short piece of a new song on his recent post. The snippet includes Manson whispering, ‘Keep sleeping/ I’ll make you dream of me,’ but no song title has been revealed.
Charges Against Manson
In February 2021, Manson’s ex-fiancée Evan Rachel Wood accused him of grooming her as a teenager and abusing her for years. Many other women made similar accusations. Manson settled some lawsuits, like one from actress Esmé Bianco, but still faces active cases.
His former assistant Ashley Waters also made allegations that will go to trial in 2025. The trial in Los Angeles County was set by a judge because Manson and Walters couldn’t reach an agreement in December during mediation. Walters’ lawyer, James Vagnini, confirmed this to Rolling Stone in a statement:
“We are happy that the delays are behind us and that we will have an opportunity to depose Mr Warner and present all the facts to a jury next year. We are confident they will acknowledge the harm done to Ms Walters and deliver a resounding message to all survivors of such terrible abuse.”
After the accusations, many of his longtime business partners and agents, such as his manager Tony Ciulla, his record label Loma Vista, and his booking agent, CAA, ended their partnerships with the rocker. However, despite this setback, Manson is making plans for a comeback. In March, he announced that he would open for Five Finger Death Punch on their North American tour in August and September. Manson also has a few solo headlining dates.
