Noah Weiland is claiming he is under attack by Scott Weiland’s team.
Noah recently released his father’s unreleased songs after the blackmails. Since dropping the songs, he’s been dealing with blackmail and negative comments about them. Now, he’s alleging that his father’s team is coming after him. Noah took to Instagram to explain the situation. He wrote:
“30k on YouTube within the first 2 days. Out on all platforms now. And that’s all while being blackballed from the industry (my old band), my dad’s ‘team’ trying to report the song & get it taken down, no label & mgmt, dropped randomly with no promo/press & definitely no money backing me.”
He also added he might release more if it streams well:
“Hopefully if this song keeps streaming good then y’all will hear more of his music one day…”
How Noah Decided To Release The Song
Noah and Lou Reed’s son Spencer Carr Reed modernized one of his father’s unheard songs as if he featured in the song.
Noah talked to Rolling Stone about his dad’s unreleased demo. He said no one in his team ‘bothered’ to release unheard music to keep his memory alive, so he did.
Although Noah had to share ‘Time Will Tell’ earlier than planned, sharing it helped him feel better. He said:
“I’ve always sort of been conditioned by my family and certain people around me to hate my father growing up. But after all this time I realized it wasn’t his fault and he would’ve never let me go through all the chaos I’ve had to go through these past years of my life.”
