Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst sent a message to Elon Musk.
The rocker took to X to share what bothered him about the platform and the errors in Musk’s business.
Durst wrote that he witnessed several users facing some problems on the platform and that they would like to get proper help about it:
“Based on the information provided, it appears that various users have experienced issues with their blue checkmarks disappearing despite being premium subscribers. For instance, Thomas Haynes had a blue checkmark and was verified, but the checkmark disappeared, and there was no explanation for the issue. This incident was reported to have occurred last month, not during the bot purge (tweet by Heather Cooper). Additionally, [some users] expressed confusion and frustration over their blue checkmarks disappearing or their profiles being under review for extended periods, despite being active and paying users.”
He added:
“It is unclear from the provided information if these issues are isolated incidents or part of a larger technical issue affecting multiple users. The users in the tweets express dissatisfaction with the lack of customer support and clarity regarding the disappearance of their blue checkmarks. For a more specific or personalized response, it would be helpful to provide more details or check directly with the X platform’s support channels.”
Durst Is Taking Over X?
Earlier, Musk shared a poll on his account about stepping down as head of Twitter. The majority of his followers were in favor. If Musk steps down, Fred Durst has a plan: he will take over the platform.
Musk has made controversial moves. He’s let go of half of Twitter’s staff, brought back Donald Trump’s account in the name of free speech, but banned Kanye West for speaking his mind. As a result, many rockers and celebrities left the platform.
Musk hinted at resigning once he finds a replacement ‘foolish enough’ to take over. Durst saw this and it seemed like he would take the job. The rocker shared a post on the platform and it gained support. He wrote:
“After giving this some serious thought, I’ve come to the conclusion that I’d be foolish enough to take the position of running Twitter, with your guidance, of course. If all else fails, risk it with the Bizkit. Happy holidays!”
Musk didn’t reply to Durst’s post.
