Dee Snider said in early April that the offers for a new Twisted Sister tour were climbing and the band was toying with the idea of a reunion. An X user recently asked Snider to confirm or deny the news, and the singer shared:
“All I said was the offers keep getting bigger and the band has had a ‘what if?’ conversation. But absolutely nothing is happening right now.”
Reunion Is Possible With The Right Offer
The band got back together for the first time since 2016 for a one-time show at the Metal Hall Of Fame in Agoura Hills, California, in 2023. The idea that they might perform more shows simply for money did not sit well with one fan. They wrote:
“Don’t do it for the money. That’s beyond lame.”
Snider replied:
“Agreed. Then, you get an offer you can’t refuse…”
Election Year May Bring The Band Back Together
The Twisted Sister frontman also confirmed last December that the band could reunite in 2024 for special appearances at political rallies supporting causes important to them. He told The Metal Voice:
“We’re all on the same page—pretty much all of us are on the same page—and I could see us helping fight the good fight. ’Cause this is a big-picture election, and with things like women’s right to choose, that’s a big-picture thing. That’s gonna hurt the other side. I said ‘the other side’, because I’m not on that side, [on the side of] Mr. Trump.”
