A recent photo of Roger Waters and David Gilmour on a FaceTime call sparked rumors of a possible Pink Floyd reunion.
The photo is shared on Twitter by a Pink Floyd fan page. It shows Waters and Gilmour seemingly engaged in a friendly conversation, and they both appear to be in good spirits. This inevitably caused speculation that the two may be considering working together again, either on new music or a potential tour.
However, there has been no official statement from either party confirming these rumors.

Fans Don’t Think So
Waters and Gilmour have a famously tumultuous relationship. Their creative differences led to Waters leaving the band in 1985. The two rarely appeared together since then, so this photo is a big surprise for fans. The Pink Floyd reunion, even if temporary, would be a major event in the rock music scene.
As for today, the two still have public disagreements. Some fans showed Gilmour’s retweeting Polly Samson’s tweet calling Waters an ‘antisemitic’ and said there’s no way this can be true. Another pointed out the Piers Morgan interview Waters gave recently and agreed: the reunion doesn’t seem possible.
Still, the FaceTime photo suggests a possible thaw in their relationship. Some hope that this may lead to a new era of collaboration, but it’s unclear what the future holds for Waters and Gilmour. The FaceTime call is a positive sign, but we can’t know for sure if it will lead to any concrete plans.
