Details Of Bon Jovi’s Recent Gig
Bon Jovi played a surprise five-song set in Nashville on Friday, June 7, to celebrate the opening of Jon Bon Jovi’s new rooftop bar and restaurant, JBJ’s. The performance coincided with the release of their sixteenth album, ‘Forever.’
This show was significant because of Jon’s ongoing vocal recovery after surgery in 2022. He recently said he can sing again but isn’t able to handle long tour schedules. The frontman’s voice sounded a bit off but strong during the Nashville club show.
Bon Jovi showed his usual lively energy, dancing on the small stage and getting fans to sing along. They started with ‘Blood on Blood,’ a song not played live since 2019. The singer then talked about his absence from performing and how good it felt to be back onstage:
“It’s been a couple of years since I’ve been up on a stage with some people in the house. Too long, too long. Yeah, it feels good. I hope it sounds good because it feels good.”
He also mentioned Nashville’s importance to the band, as they spent a lot of time there writing and recording. Other celebrities like Jelly Roll, and Big Kenny were at the gig. They performed hits like ‘You Give Love a Bad Name’ and their new single ‘Legendary’ from the album ‘Forever.’
