already has three Super Bowl rings, but he just got his newest title: ‘s backup dancer.
Kelce, also known as “The Guy on the Chiefs” to the Swifties, recently appeared on the podcast with Will Compton and Taylor Lewan on Wednesday, June 26, where he was assigned a new job title that had nothing to do with football.
Instead, the Kansas City Chiefs player was referred to as “Taylor Swift’s background dancer” in a title card that popped up during the podcast episode, a clear reference to the athlete’s on stage at Swift’s Eras Tour concert.
Kelce, 34, made a surprise appearance on stage during the singer’s latest concert at Wembley Stadium in London, England, on Sunday, June 23, where Kelce came out to join the dancers for the transition into Swift’s performance of her bouncy track “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart,” off of her latest album, .
The tight end joined Swift’s dancers Kam Saunders and Jan Ravnik, and came out on stage dressed in a black tux and a top hat.
Following the end of Swift’s “The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived,” a deep cut performance that ends with the singer pretending to be dead, Kelce lifted Swift on the ground and carried her over to the couch on stage.
He then assisted Saunders and Ravnik in getting Swift prepared for her next song, a silly bit that consists of the dancers helping Swift get ready and come back to life to finish the show. Travis partook in the , applying makeup to his girlfriend’s face and doing a few dance moves to inspire her to get back out there, which she ultimately did—but not before blowing a kiss to Kelce behind her.
After wrapping the London shows, Swift to gush over the performances, giving Kelce a special shoutout.
“I’m still cracking up/swooning over ’s Eras Tour debut 🥰,” she wrote, alongside a photo of the duo on stage together. “Never going to forget these shows.”
