Brandon Thomas Lee, Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee’s son, got kicked out of his country club.
As reported by TMZ, sources say his membership was canceled after he argued loudly with another member on the golf course.
Brandon got into trouble at the Sherwood Country Club in Thousand Oaks, CA a few weeks ago. He drove too close to the green, and a nearby homeowner saw it. The homeowner started filming Brandon, which made him angry. Brandon then began yelling at the homeowner, and the situation got tense.
A source close to Brandon says he knows not to drive on the green. He thought he was staying in the right area. The source says the resident made things worse by filming and harassing Brandon instead of just asking him to move his cart.
The member sent the video to the club’s board. Sources say this was the final straw. People at the club say Brandon was rude to staff before, and this incident led to his membership being canceled.
A source close to Brandon disagrees. They say he wasn’t rude and had no other issues. He felt all his interactions were good except for this one. He was surprised when he got the letter.
In March 2021, Lee celebrated getting his first hole-in-one at the club on Instagram. “My first HOLE IN ONE!! This is the sh*t that keeps you coming back!! I’ll be chasing the dragon for the rest of my life!!!” he wrote, adding a caption to his pictures on the golf course.
Sherwood has many famous members, like Jack Nicholson, Sylvester Stallone, Justin Timberlake, Wayne Gretzky, and Caitlyn Jenner. TMZ contacted Sherwood Country Club for a comment, but they haven’t responded yet.
