Tom Morello recently dropped a new song with his son as he goes up against LeBron James and Bronny.
The guitarist shared a video on Instagram with grandson and his son, Roman Morello, playing the new track and wrote, “Lebron & Bronny been reeeeal quiet since this dropped. Tom Morello, Roman Morello, Grandson, and ‘Venom.’ ‘ONE LAST DANCE’—Out Now!”
The song is titled ‘One Last Dance’ and was created for the upcoming movie ‘Venom: The Last Dance.’ “I loved working with grandson and my 13-year-old guitar prodigy son, Roman, on ‘One Last Dance,’” Morello said.
The rocker added, “Roman is a certifiable riff machine. He crafted the song’s huge riff and plays the shredding solo and grandson is always spectacular and is a really great songwriter. The song is an absolute banger and totally matches the power and energy of the film.”
‘One Last Dance’ is played during the movie’s credits and before the first post-credit scene of ‘Venom 3.’ The track is included in ‘The Last Dance’s credit sequence, which shows Venomized versions of different animals.
The Morellos also worked together on the song ‘Soldier in the Army of Love,’ which was released in June. Tom also teamed up with his grandson for the 2021 song ‘Hold the Line.’
‘Venom: The Last Dance’ is the last movie in Sony’s ‘Venom’ trilogy. Tom Hardy is back as Eddie Brock/Venom. They are on the run from a secret U.S. government program and symbiote hunters sent by Knull, who created Venom. The film has the humor and chemistry fans love, plus a soundtrack with classic rock and modern songs.
While the trilogy isn’t known for its music, it includes original songs like Eminem’s ‘Venom.’ Dan Deacon created the score, and the soundtrack is available on platforms like Spotify and Apple Music. You can also find ‘One Last Dance’ on these services.
