Savannah Guthrie, Craig Melvin, Hoda Kotb and more joined together to check out the solar eclipse
The anchors gathered with each other and their respective families to watch the on Monday, April 8.
, , , , , and assembled outside the American Museum of Natural History in New York City on Monday afternoon with their protective eclipse glasses in hand.
The official Instagram account of the morning show and Guthrie, 52, shared a of a cute montage of the co-anchors and their children.
“We’re going to miss the eclipse because we’re eating.” 😂. keeping it so real,” read the caption.
Guthrie then shared a series of Instagram Stories of the co-anchors smiling wide at the sky with their protective shades. One of the Instagram Stories included Daly, 50, putting two glazed donuts over his eyes, mimicking the signature sunglasses.
Another included the NBC talent staring towards to sky, with Kotb, 59, and Daly pointing their arms up in the air in amazement, while an awestruck Hager Bush, 42, holds onto her glasses.
Meanwhile the official Instagram account shared a video of the group of seven lounging in the grass next to each other staring up at the sky.

In one of Guthrie’s later Instagram Stories, she shared a cute image of the dark sky over the Today journalists and their children. Some of those who were photographed were Kotb’s daughters, , 4, and , 7. Jones’ eldest son, Kayin, 14. Jones, 45, is also mother to 14-year-old Kayin and 11-year-old twins, Clara and Uche.
Dreyer’s , (“Rusty”), 2½, , 4, and , 6, were also at the group viewing. Guthrie’s son, , 7, was spotted in her Stories and on her ; however, her daughter , 9, was not seen in any of her posts.
Daly’s four children – son Jackson, 14, and daughters Etta, 11, London, 9, and Goldie, 3 – were not spotted in any photos or video footage of the event. Nor were Bush Hager’s three children, , 4, , 8, and , 10, or Melvin’s kids, son , 10, and daughter , 7.
