There’s no way we could turn a blind eye to Lily Collins’ red carpet glam.
Last week, the 35-year-old actress graced the pink carpet for the season 4 premiere of the Netflix series Emily in Paris. She sparkled in a black strapless floor-length gown that popped thanks to a peplum top and a classic checkerboard print on the skirt. But unlike her alter-ego Emily Cooper, who loves to wear clashing colors and is no stranger to bold red lipstick, her makeup was classic and clean.
To create her “flawless skin” and “‘rough’ cat eye,” her makeup artist, Fiona Stiles, applied 10 Merit Beauty products to the stars’ skin, including a moisturizer that isn’t yet available. To copy Collin’s’ look, keep scrolling to shop the exact makeup breakdown — all of which are under $40.
Merit Beauty Products Used on Lily Collins
Merit Beauty Flush Balm Cheek Color
To give Collins a natural tint to her cheeks, Stiles swiped on this creamy vegan blush that’s a fan favorite of Hilary Duff and Cameron Diaz. Duff once praised it for its ability to give “a great pop of color.” The blush is also blendable and made with Vitamin E for hydration.
It was also used to doll up Sarah Jessica Parker for the season 2 premiere of And Just Like That… and it’s been a staple in her character Carrie Bradshaw’s makeup routine since the beginning of the reboot. It comes in nine shades, though Cheeky was the pretty pink used on Collins’ fair complexion.
Merit Beauty Brow 1990 Sheer Gel Pencil
Collins’ thick bold brows are one of her most defining features, but not all of us are as genetically blessed. This gel pencil, which is made with sunflower oil, safflower extract, and hibiscus flower, has a precise angled tip to fill in sparse spots (like the scar I have where hair no longer grows), add color, and define them further. The opposite end of the wand also has a brush, which blurs out any harsh lines (or mistakes) and aids in a more even distribution.
Merit Beauty Bronze Balm Sheer Bronzer
As summer slides away, you might notice your tan slowly fading. Luckily, a quick fan of bronzer on your cheekbones, forehead, and chin can mimic the color from a few months of sun. This one was a PEOPLE Tested winner that was dubbed the best blendable, and it can even be buffed out with your fingers when you’re traveling or you unexpectedly find yourself needing to refresh your makeup.
