Slash recently lost his stepdaughter Lucy-Bleu Knight. Her cause of death has just been revealed.
Slash’s step-daughter, Lucy-Bleu Knight, died from ‘hydrogen sulfide toxicity,’ the Los Angeles Medical Examiner’s Office has confirmed. Hydrogen sulfide is a gas that can irritate the respiratory system, and high levels of it can cause unconsciousness and death quickly. The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner stated on Tuesday: [It was] determined the cause of death for 25-year-old Lucy-Bleu Knight as hydrogen sulfide toxicity. The manner of death is suicide.”
Slash shared a tribute on social media, saying, “My heart is permenantly fractured. I will never ever stop missing you & remembering what a beacon of happiness, laughter, creativity & beauty you have always been. & still are. The brightest light in the lives of so many that loved you so much. I find solace in the hope that you are at peace now. I will love you eternally.”
On July 21, two days after Knight’s death, a post that appeared to be scheduled was shared on her Instagram page. It included a selfie and a caption reflecting on her relationships with people in her life.
Following his stepdaughter Lucy-Bleu Knight’s death, Slash called off multiple shows of his S.E.R.P.E.N.T tour. The guitarist shared on social media that he would have to do so ‘due to unforeseen circumstances’ and they would continue their tour on July 28.
