Swift was met with rain during her performance at the Groupama Stadium in Lyon — but made room for some rainbows with a lively performance of ‘You Need to Calm Down’

On Sunday, June 2, the “Tortured Poets Department” singer performed at Groupama Stadium in Lyon, France, for her first Eras Tour show of the month — and wished the crowd a happy month celebrating the LGBTQ+ community.
“Happy Pride Month, Lyon,” Swift, 34, as she performed “,” a song she wrote in 2019 as an anthem for the queer community. As she sang the hit, rainbow lights and decor lit up the stage and fans waved their hands back and forth.

Rainbows took on yet another meaning after Sunday’s Eras Tour performance — Swift was met with tons of rain in Lyon for her show, telling the crowd: “Pluie, rain” (“pluie” means “rain” in French).

According to videos shared by fans on social media, the singer’s band played from underneath tents on the sides of the stage, and the VIP booths and other areas closest to the stage were also covered by tents, as audience members sported ponchos to brave the wet weather.
“We have officially had a rain show tonight and that is set,” Swift said ahead of her “Champagne Problems” performance, according to . “That is permanent. It doesn’t matter if it doesn’t rain again.”

Keeping with her Eras Tour tradition of introducing , the singer sat down at her piano to play a mix of “The Prophecy,” off of her , and “Long Story Short” from her .
Later in the show, for another set of surprise songs, she sang of “You’re on Your Own Kid,” a fan-favorite track off , and “Fifteen” from her .
Although Swift’s Super Bowl-winning boyfriend, , has been intermittently to spend some time with her during this leg of the Eras Tour, he seemingly remained back in the U.S. during her Sunday night show. The night prior, he made an appearance at Big Slick Celebrity Weekend in Kansas City, Mo., alongside,, and other big names at the fundraising event.

Kelce, 34, and Mahomes, 28, appeared onstage for a short skit with Sudeikis, in which the Ted Lasso star cheekily asked the tight end (in character, nonetheless) if he’ll be popping the question to Swift anytime soon.
In a shared on X (formerly Twitter), Sudeikis — sporting a fake mustache, sunglasses and a cap — asked Kelce, “Hey Travis, real talk okay, just the guys here … when are you going to make an honest woman out of her?”
Kelce laughed as the audience cheered, though he didn’t give a response to Sudeikis’ question.
Swift is set to perform one more show in Lyon before heading to Edinburgh, Scotland, for a three-night run.
