Static-X’s classic album ‘Wisconsin Death Trip’ has turned 25, and the band is celebrating it with an announcement. The band shared the first trailer for their new documentary, ‘Evil Disco: The Rise, Fall and Regeneration of Static-X.’ The film will take a look at the history of the band’s career.
The news was shared on the band’s social media accounts. They wrote with a snippet of the trailer:
“25 years ago today, Static-X unleashed Wisconsin Death Trip onto the world. On this very special anniversary – we would like to share a teaser for the first ever official Static-X documentary film – titled Evil Disco: The Rise, Fall, And Regeneration Of Static-X. Thank you all for 25 years of amazing memories… So much more to come!”
What Does The Film Include?
The film offers a look at the legacy of Wayne Static. It details how the rest of the members honored his legacy with both old and new fans.
The film also includes interview footage with several other musicians. They include Dave Navarro of Jane’s Addiction, Jamey Jasta of Hatebreed, Meegs Rascon of Coal Chamber, Dino Cazares of Fear Factory, and many more. In the movie, they talk about the band’s early days and success, the passing of Wayne, and the band’s comeback with Xer0.
