During a recent appearance on Chris Garza’s Garza Podcast, Alex Terrible shared his thoughts on cancel culture.
Slaughter to Prevail vocalist talked about the current environment in the United States:
“Nowadays, a lot of people in America are just scared to say simple f*cking stuff but there is a reason why they are scared. Right now I understand why but I don’t give a sh*t. I will say it anyway.”
After saying that he doesn’t have a problem with LGBT people but with crazy ones, Terrible added:
“For example, when I was young, I was vegan for six years and I was like, ‘Everybody has to stop eating meat actually because it’s f*cking bad.’ Right now a lot of people in the LGBT community, they think that way, like ‘You have to appreciate that, you have to respect that, you have to f*cking do that. You don’t have to say that or you cannot say that.’ F*ck you. I’m going to say whatever I want. If it hurts your feelings, I don’t give a sh*t because this is a f*cking real world. Welcome.”
Other Controversies Of The Singer
Slaughter to Prevail has become very popular since starting in 2014. Alex has been in the spotlight for different reasons, like his views on transgender people and accusations of being a Neo-Nazi due to his black elbow tattoo. He later covered it up. Last year, Terrible caused controversy with a video titled ‘4 Rules Of Real Man’ posted in August.
In the video, he listed rules about eating p*ssy, eating with hands, doing combat sports, and listening to metal music. The video received backlash from the LGBTQ community. Some accused him of being homophobic and others decided to stop supporting him. He responded with a follow-up post:
“I will not feel sorry for anyone and be gentle, I say what I think and sometimes I speak rudely. I hate propaganda in any form, especially when trying to brainwash children! I consider it a crime, children absorb everything like sponges and do not realize until they are of a conscious age. Parents, teachers, and educators are responsible for children and they must help them become individuals who in the future will take responsibility for their own destiny. If you want to cancel me for this then please! I won’t stop making my own music and being myself. F*ck you.”
When asked about his tattoo, Alex previously explained that he has never been racist. In Russia, there was a rise of right-wing groups due to crime from newcomers in cities. Terrible spent time with these groups because they shared interests like gym and MMA. He noted that some people in these groups were racist, but he did not care about that.
