Skai Jackson Is Pregnant, Former Disney Star 'Thrilled' for Next Chapter

Skai Jackson is excited for her next big role: mom!

The former Disney star confirmed to People that she is expecting her first baby.

“I’m thrilled to begin this new chapter in my life — embracing motherhood and diving into new acting projects. My heart is so full!” the 22-year-old told the outlet. 

Jackson’s boyfriend, the father of her unborn child, has yet to be publicly identified. 

The news comes after the Jessie alum was arrested for domestic battery following a public fight with her boyfriend in August.

As the Bunk’d  star preps for motherhood, she previously praised her own mom, Kiya Cole, for being a strong role model.

“She’s always kept me humble. I feel like when you have that great support system, you cannot go wrong,” Jackson told E! News earlier this year. 

Jackson also reflected on her time as a child star, noting she will always cherish those years.

“For me, I had a great experience. I got to learn a lot being in the industry at a young age, being able to have opportunities I feel like probably the average kid wouldn’t be able to,” she shared.

Jackson’s upcoming film, The Man in the White Van, will be released in theaters on Dec. 13. She promoted the film earlier this year at Comic Con.
