It seems no time at all since the 75th Primetime Emmy Awards rolled out, thanks to the ceremony being delayed due to the 2023 SAG-AFTRA and WAG strikes. Now it is time for the 76th Awards nominations to be revealed, with the usual mix of expected nods, surprising outsiders, and just the odd snub or two. While there are never any certainties when it comes to how the Emmys will appraise the last year in television, the 76th Primetime Emmy Awards are at least expected to stick to schedule this year, and take place on Sunday, September 15, live on ABC at 8:00 p.m. ET/ 5:00 p.m. PT.
There are many strong contenders that could be capable of taking several awards in two months’ time, from The Bear and The Morning Show, to Fallout and old favorite The Crown. Of course, as the output of many streaming platforms continues to grow, the race for awards glory becomes a much tougher field to navigate, and that means not everyone is going to be happy with the short-list of nominations – and even less so about the resulting winners and losers on awards night itself. You can check out the confirmed list of nominees in all categories below.
