Sheinelle Jones proudly showed off four generations of family in a new video.
In an post shared on July 6, the TODAY co-host posted a sweet video clip that featured four generations of her family, including her grandmother, her mother, and , with each member twinning in their sparkling emerald green ensembles.
The adorable video kicked off with Clara posing in front of the camera before motioning off camera to Sheinelle, adding, “Come on, mom!”
When Clara left the frame, Sheinelle walked in front of the camera to check on her hair and outfit. Before she went off camera, she called for her own mom next.
Sheinelle’s mom then walked in front of the camera before waving on her own mother. Sheinelle’s grandma ended the generational chain, singing as she walked to the camera before announcing, “I’m coming!” while waving her hand in the air.
At the end of the video, all four generations of women posed sweetly for the camera in their coordinating outfits for the evening. Sheinelle’s grandma added one last bit of commentary about the family snap, telling the group, “Aw, isn’t that cute?”
In the caption of the post, Sheinelle shared that she and her family were all attending an event to celebrate Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority.
“Heading to a special legacy dinner tonight for @akasorority1908,” Sheinelle wrote. “My grandmother is 94 years old and pledged in 1949… my mom pledged in 1972… and I joined in 1997 … Clara’s up next — but time can slow down.”
Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority was founded in 1908 at Howard University and is the first intercollegiate historically African American sorority,

Sheinelle also shared another photo of her family on her Instagram story, posting a snap of the group standing on a staircase with their outfits on full display.
Sheinelle has gotten to spend some quality time with her mom and grandma in recent months.
For Mother’s Day in May, Sheinelle that she was “so homesick” that before the holiday.
“I left after the show yesterday, and I’m headed back to NYC now so I can be with my own kiddos on Mother’s Day,” Sheinelle wrote on Instagram. “This was a Mothers Day gift for myself.”
Sheinelle, her grandma, and her mom all went to a local tearoom in Wichita, Kansas together to mark the occasion. The spontaneous trip was well worth it for Sheinelle, who added, “My tummy and my heart is full.”
