In a recent interview with The Entertainer! magazine, Sharon Osbourne shared that she’s working on a cartoon featuring Ozzy Osbourne and the late Motörhead frontman Lemmy Kilmister.
She shared the details about the upcoming series. She said:
“They are superheroes. It’s very, very funny. It’s irreverent and funny. Hopefully somebody will buy that and that’ll go out. We’re excited about it.”
The news came right after Ozzy canceled his scheduled appearance at Mad Monster Party.
The Reason For The Cancelation
The Prince of Darkness was set to attend this year’s Mad Monster Party, scheduled from July 12 to July 14 at the Renaissance Phoenix Glendale Hotel & Spa in Glendale, Arizona.
On June 25th, Sharon posted a video message on her Instagram story to announce that the Osbourne family would not be attending the event. She wrote:
“Regretfully, the Osbourne family have to cancel our upcoming appearance at the Mad Monster Party in Phoenix because Ozzy is unable to travel at this time. However, Jack [Ozzy and Sharon’s son] will be there flying the flag for the Osbournes.”
She added:
“Everybody who bought the Osbourne package will, of course, get full refunds. We would like to thank you all for your constant support. It means so much to him, you have no idea. And all I can do is apologize that we won’t be there and I’m apologizing for people we’ve let down from my heart. So God bless you all. Thank you so much.”
More details about the new project with the late Motörhead frontman are to come.
