In a recent Instagram post, Sebastian Bach took a dig at Skid Row.
The singer shared a video from ‘Jeopardy!’ including the question ‘The bus out of this run-down city area, also the name of a metal band fronted by Sebastian Bach’ and wrote in the caption:
“ICYMI: Sebastian had the wonderful honor of being featured in a ‘Jeopardy!’ clue last week! Shoutout to Stephanie for nailing the answer! Team Baz.”
Bach added in a follow-up comment with a surprised emoji:
“You would think that ‘Jeopardy!’ would know that I have not fronted that band since the year 1996.”
How Did Fans Interpret The Question In The Show?
It seemed like Skid Row vocalists after Bach were ignored. The fans also realized the situation considering their comments. One person said:
“Funny how they didn’t say any of the other frontpeoples names.”
Another one noted:
“Oh man…you know this just kills the 3 musketeers still in the band.”
Will Bach Reunite With Skid Row?
Although Bach thinks he’s still the face of the band, Skid Row doesn’t intend to reunite with their former singer. At a recent Q&A at the Days Of The Dead convention in Indianapolis, Skid Row bassist Rachel Bolan said the band is writing new music and searching for a new singer. He mentioned that Sebastian is not being considered:
“We’re always writing, throwing ideas at each other. Right now we’re in the middle of looking for a singer. I hear all you guys rolling your eyes already. Our [last] singer, Erik [Grönwall], left to prioritize his health, [which was] understandable. So right now we’re just taking our time, because we have time. And we’ve got a couple guys on the radar that we’re gonna audition. And there’s also a couple of our friends that wanna do what Lzzy Hale did and sit in [on lead vocals] for a few shows. And that’s fun too. That was so much fun doing those [four] shows [with Lzzy in late May and early June].”
Another Skid Row member Dave Sabo also previously revealed that the group doesn’t plan to reunite with Bach. He understands fans want it but he is happy with the current situation right now.
