Sebastian Bach disagrees with those who think he destroyed Skid Row.
The former frontman took to X to respond to a fan after he shared his thoughts on artists ‘alienating’ their audience.
“You alienated your own band. You couldn’t get along with four guys. They rather play bowling alleys than put up with your ass, shut the f*ck up,” the user wrote.
The singer responded, “You alienated your own head.”
Bach didn’t respond to the ‘you couldn’t get along with the guys’ part of the tweet, but a recent interview with Scotti Hill says that Bach’s reunion with the band wouldn’t be right.
“We did great things in the past, but this is about way more than a band or music,” the guitarist explained during an appearance on the Appetite for Distortion podcast. “‘Do it for the fans.’ No, no. I’m not going to put my good life and well-being and peace, I’m not gonna sacrifice that for the fans. That’s not what I do. And anybody that calls himself a fan wouldn’t ask the band to put themselves through something they don’t want to do.”
“But people just want what they want. They just want what they want. They want that band back with that guy. They still want Bon Scott back in AC/DC. I mean, come on,” he added.
The band’s most recent vocalist, Erik Gronwall, left in March to focus on his health. Halestorm’s Lzzy Hale stepped in for a few shows but later said that she was not planning to continue permanently. The spot is still open and many fans are hoping for Bach’s return.
