Sebastian Bach shared in a recent interview with Harley Roxx of KDOT Rock 104.5 that TikTok is a mystery to him.
Bach said he rules on Facebook, X, and Instagram, but TikTok still confuses him:
“Well, I’ve gotta be honest with you. I have to be honest. I have a whole team behind me with this record. And the reason I’m telling you that is because, yes, I rule on Facebook; I’ve got over a million followers on there. That’s awesome. I ruled on Twitter, and now X, even though I like Twitter way better than X. I ruled that. I ruled Instagram. I got half a million followers on Instagram, which is very good. So I got all those down. But I’ve gotta tell you, you all lost me at TikTok.”
Bach Says TikTok Doesn’t Relate To Him
He then explained why he doesn’t get TikTok:
“I don’t get it. I don’t understand it. Everybody tells me it’s the biggest music platform. So I go on there. I go, ‘Oh, I’ve gotta get into this.’ And it doesn’t relate to me, really. But I have a team of people who run my TikTok page, and I haven’t seen my TikTok page since last October. ‘Cause this team took over when my song came out in November. And then I gave them all my logins and everything. And so they’re running it. I hope it’s cool. I hope it’s good. But I love my team. I approve everything they put out. So it’s cool.”
His Upcoming Album ‘Child Within The Man’
Bach’s new album ‘Child Within The Man’ will arrive on May 10. This record is the rocker’s first since 2014’s ‘Give ‘Em Hell,’ and it includes collaborations with John 5, Steve Stevens, and Orianthi. He said in a statement:
“I have been putting out records since the year 1989. Thank you for 35 years of Bach’ n’ Roll, all leading up to ‘Child Within the Man!’ If you like the records I have put out in the past, I can guarantee that you will enjoy the new album. This is the kind of rock’ n’ roll that keeps you young! Can’t wait for you all to crank up ‘Child Within the Man’ — a magical elixir to the fountain of Youth! Gone Wild! Forever! It’s all one big song! Turn it up!”
Devin Bronson, Todd Kerns, and Jeremy Colson are part of Bach’s touring band. Bach has scheduled shows in South America in late April and early May. He will then move to the United States for more shows.
