Sebastian Bach has made a few posts on X about gun control in the US.
The former Skid Row frontman has openly shared his thoughts on the matter for many years. Now more recently, the rocker responded to people who support gun use. A user wrote about the matter:
“Sebastian we, the people who are citizens of the US, were given the RIGHT to bare arms for a reason. All I can say as a person who owns many different types of weapons from guns to knives is ‘IT’S NOT THE WEAPON ITS THE PERSON.’”
The singer responded:
“Correct. We were given the RIGHT to bare arms. Nobody on the planet should have the right to *bear arms such as an AR 15. Nobody’s right to bear arms should be more important than the safety of a public citizen of the United States of America.”
A user responded to another one of his posts:
“I don’t know Baz, I jumped out of airplanes for our way of life. Just like when the PMRC wanted to sensor music… We all know that was auto credibility and backfired. Leave this one alone, it isn’t your wheelhouse. Your PM is worthy of your passion, so see what you can do there.”
In response, Bach mentioned Donald Trump’s assassination attempt and wrote:
“So you’re fine with what happened the other day in Pennsylvania? Most of the country would like that sh*t to not happen anymore.”
Bach’s Earlier Comments
Back in 2021, the singer defended Twisted Sister’s Dee Snider about his words on the same matter.
The rocker shared a post on X, where he called U.S. Representative and pro-gun activist Lauren Boebert a ‘f*cking idiot’ in response to an old tweet. He wrote:
“I thought it stood for ‘You AR a f*cking idiot!’ – sincerely, Dee Snider. Proud gun owner, 2nd amendment advocate, AND BELIEVER IN INTELLIGENT GUN CONTROL! If you need an AR-15 for self defense… you are a terrible shot.”
Bach stood up for Snider and added:
“The people that believe that it’s the year 1776 & the 2nd Amendment applies literally in 2021 do not understand the difference between a Musket and an AR-15.”
