Recently, Scott Stapp and Mark Tremonti joined an interview with Loudwire. Stapp talked about Creed’s comeback to the live stage after 12 years and revealed the song that he connects with on a spiritual level. The frontman explained:
“I’ve really enjoyed ‘Never Die,’ ‘Faceless Man,’ ‘Never Say I,’ but particularly ‘Faceless Man.’ That’s always been one that I really connect with on a spiritual level. It rocks as well, so I definitely feel connected with something greater than myself when I’m performing that song.”
Creed earned the fans’ appreciation after their first live performance in 12 years. Scott’s vocals were especially found impressive. Now, the biggest question in fans’ minds is when they are going to hear new Creed music.
New Creed Music Is On The Table
Mark Tremonti explained Creed’s stance on releasing new music during a recent interview with Ethan Dometrius’ YouTube channel. He confirmed that the band wrote an entire album years ago but they have no intentions of releasing it. Instead, Tremonti thinks it would be a better idea to write new songs if they decide to release another album. He stated:
“The last time we got together [more than a decade ago], we put together almost an entire another record, but it’s just kind of sitting there on my laptop waiting to be dug back into. But I thought, honestly, if we wrote some new music, we could do better than that. And we’ll kind of see what happens.”
