Ever since the passing of the late Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington, rumors have risen that the band would continue with another singer. Another one was recently added to those comments.
Alternative music podcast ‘State Of The Scene’ took to X about a more recent rumor.
“Rumors are swirling that Linkin Park may soon be announcing some concert dates including the possibility of a performance at Sonic Temple,” they wrote.
It’s not official yet, but fans already have some names in mind. Some suggested Sum 41’s Deryck Whibley, a few named Monuments’ Andy Cizek, We Came As Romans’ Dave Stephens, and even Architects’ Sam Carter. However, one comment stood out among all the rest.
“These rumors maaay be facts, my friend (though I’m not confirming or denying the Sonic Temple part),” The Gunz Show host replied. “I’ll have more details coming on my show Wednesday.”
Some other sources claimed that the band might be considering touring in 2025 earlier with a female singer. One source told Billboard that the band was looking for a female vocalist to lead the band. On March 30, Jay Gordon from Orgy mentioned on Wired in the Empire on KCAL 96.7 that he had heard some rumors of a Linkin Park reunion.
It’s still not exactly certain that if Linkin Park is looking for a female singer or someone already in hardcore bands. However, we might hear more details soon in the next few months.
