After responding to a comment claiming that he ‘picked up some things from Alex Terrible on his last tour’ with a video from 17 years ago (see it below), Ronnie Radke recalled a memory involving the vocalist on Twitter/X. He told the story to his fans by writing:
“Funny story: I was outside my green room, and the guitarist of Slaughter to Prevail asked if I’d fight their singer Alex Terrible for pay-per-view, mind you, I never met Alex yet at this point. I said, ‘I mean, I don’t want to, but if I had to, I would, but I really, really don’t want to.’”
The singer revealed the offer’s backstory as follows:
“I then asked why do you ask? He said, not kidding, ‘Well… we asked Fronz if he’d fight Alex for pay-per-view for the fans, and Fronz said no, and recommended you.’ So Fronz got scared and recommended me to fight Alex, a giant Russian that cut his own face with a Rambo blade to get a cool scar and wrestles bears. Thanks, Fronz.”
Slaughter to Prevail released a music video for ‘Baba Yaga,’ featuring a scene of Terrible having a wrestling match with a bear in 2021. Following that, behind the scenes of the clip, which showed the frontman also growling during the fight, went viral.
Reacting to Radke’s tweet, a fan referred to that video by saying:
“I remember watching the music video with the bear, and I was like, ‘Oh, that’s kinda dope,’ and then later, seeing the behind-the-scenes where he’s fucking with an actual bear, and I was like, ‘What?!’”
Another user mentioned Terrible’s stage shows and commented:
“The same guy who voluntarily cracks his head open with the microphone every show. I’d run, too. Lol.”
