Falling In Reverse frontman Ronnie Radke recently addressed the Taking Back Sunday frontman Adam Lazzara’s comments about him. In a new TikTok video Radke shared on his account, the frontman said that he would do a show with the band to replace the ‘phony rock star’ vocalist with him.
He mentioned a tweet the Taking Back Sunday frontman wrote about him and said:
“Back in 2013 I released a rap rock song called ‘Alone.’ And mind you it was the first time experiencing or trying out what I was doing. I wanted to change stuff, I wanted to be different, right? And this is what Adam Lazzara, the singer of Taking Back Sunday, a band I used to look up to when I was like 17, this is what he tweeted at me. ‘Why hasn’t the real hip-hop world shut this ass hat Ronnie Radke up yet?’”
He also addressed his own issues with smaller bands and apologized to those he had spoken negatively about:
“Time reveals a lot of things and maybe you should have been a little bit nicer to the guy like me. And there is probably a couple times where I’ve been mean to bands that were smaller than me and that never forgot that. And one day they might get bigger than me and make a video about me. So if you’re out there watching this and I said something out of pocket to you, and you’re in a band and you’re inspired; I hope that inspires you to get bigger. And I apologize at the same time. Because nothing is worse than someone you looked up to for so long watching them slowly f*cking deteriorate into a non-existent phony rock star just like this guy.”
Radke Will Do A Free Show
In the same video, the rocker sent a message to Taking Back Sunday, saying that he would do a show with the band for free if they ever needed a ‘vocalist who can sing in key’:
“Because at one point he was hailed as this rock God, and then everybody grew up and realized it was all a house of cards. So this message is to actually Taking Back Sunday. If you guys ever need an actual vocalist that can sing in key and that destroys your current vocalist, hit me up. I’ll do one show you guys can keep all my shares of the money. You shouldn’t pay me, I’ll do it for free.”
