Congratulations are in order for the stars of two iconic 20th-century rock bands, Ronnie Wood of The Rolling Stones and Steve Harris of Iron Maiden. On Wednesday, July 24, 2024, the legendary musicians’ worlds collided when Ronnie’s son, Tyrone, married Steve’s daughter, Faye, at The Old Marylebone Town Hall in London. The couple announced their nuptials with a joint Instagram post of adorable photos from their celebration a few days later, on July 28, 2024.
In the first image of their post, the beaming newlyweds are shown walking down the stairs of the town hall, hand in hand, after they exchanged vows, as guests happily throw confetti in the air. Faye is pictured wearing an off-the-shoulder Self Portrait mini dress, paired with Sergio Rossi mules, a wavy hairstyle, and a birdcage veil. An ensuing image in the collection also indicates that the bride held a pearl-studded handbag and chose almond-shaped nails with a light ombré polish for her bridal manicure.
Tyrone wore an emerald green suit jacket with a black Ozwald Boateng vest suit underneath. The two also appear to have sported a matching accessory: While the bride carried a bouquet of white hydrangeas, the groom coordinated with her in a hydrangea boutonnière. “MARRIED!! 💒 Mr & Mrs Wood! 💕,” Faye wrote in her caption.
The following images in the carousel show the exterior of their courthouse venue, complete with stately architecture, followed by candid portraits of the couple. In one, the pair is holding hands and gazing at one another in the stairwell, and in another, they’re mirroring a similar pose—but in front of a fireplace, topped with potted flowers on the mantel. A couple of the shots picture Faye and Tyrone kissing, once in the car and another on the street. To conclude their joint post, the children of the two famed musicians uploaded a picture of a gold-rimmed mirror, with their first names enclosed in a heart and their wedding date written on it.
The bride and groom’s rockstar dads appeared to be in good spirits following the ceremony. In photos that Hello exclusively published, the musical gurus posed with the happy couple and gave each other hugs. “It was a magical day celebrating with our family and friends in London,” the couple told the outlet.
Ahead of the big day, Faye and Tyrone hosted 30 of their closest friends and family at The Savoy hotel for a big sleepover before their town hall ceremony and reception at George Public House, a pub-style restaurant. The vintage, old-English vibe of their venues contrasted with their chic, contemporary outfit choices.
News of the couple’s wedding comes about seven months after they shared their engagement with the public in December 2023. Faye announced the momentous occasion, which took place on a romantic winter woodland trip to Kildare, Ireland, on Instagram with another set of photos of the two. “Happiest girl in the world,” she wrote as the caption.
The rockstars’ children have kept their relationship largely private—in fact, it was Ronnie who broke the news of his son’s wedding plans with Faye. “Ty and Faye are getting married straight after the [Hackney Diamonds] tour,” he told The Sun in April 2024. “That is going to be amazing.”
