Former frontman of Led Zeppelin, Robert Plant, recently paid a visit to Sonny Boy Williamson II‘s grave. He shared his visit on Instagram and expressed his respect for the late artist.
The post contained a photo of the singer standing next to Williamson’s gravestone. Accompanying this image, the caption expressed the profound respect Plant held for the late artist, naming him as his ‘greatest inspiration.’
The caption read:

The late blues singer’s stage presence and style had an influence on the vocalist’s early career. In 1969, he even recorded Williamson’s ‘Bring It on Home’ with Led Zeppelin as a tribute to him.
