Code Orange guitarist Reba Meyers is joining Marilyn Manson on stage for his ongoing tour.
The guitarist shared the news with pictures she shared on Instagram. The rocker also sent a message about Manson’s allegations and implied that he deserved to be forgiven.
“See me performing with Marilyn Manson now as he returns in awesome renewed form on tour this month and next, and in his new video for ‘Raise The Red Flag,’” the rocker wrote in the caption of her post. “I’m proud to represent the growth, confidence, forgiveness, humanity, and change that comes with this, and to be up there with such talented motherf*ckers. Everyone is aiming for growth and not stagnation. World needs that attitude right now. Thanks to all the new peeps that have been showing love and support my way.”
Marilyn Manson had not performed live since a short set at the Hollywood Palladium in 2020. Over the past few years, he has been dealing with legal troubles from various abuse allegations made by several women. But now that most of those legal issues are sorted out, he made a comeback earlier this month. The rocker performed alongside Five Finger Death Punch and Slaughter to Prevail.
When he hit the stage again, his live band included drummer Gil Sharone, guitarist Tyler Bates, former Rob Zombie bassist Piggy D., and Meyers.
Besides performing live, Marilyn Manson has been putting out new music. His first new song since the 2020 album ‘We Are Chaos’ is ‘As Sick as the Secrets Within,’ and he just released another track, ‘Raise the Red Flag,’ this past week.
