Reacher fans rejoice! While we await the release of Reacher Season 3, the smash hit Amazon Prime Video series has now just received an early Season 4 renewal, meaning there will be plenty more of Alan Ritchson’s action hero in the foreseeable future. And the good news doesn’t stop there, as the announcement made by the streaming platform also confirmed that the third season of the hugely popular series will debut in 2025, according to a report by The Wrap.
“’Reacher’ has become a phenomenon that continues to resonate with our global customers beyond our wildest expectations and we are thrilled to bring the series back for an additional season,“ said Vernon Sanders, head of television, Amazon MGM Studios. “We are looking forward to more action and adventure from the immensely talented team.”
Starring Alan Ritchson as the former U.S. Army military police officer turned nomad avenger, the first season of Reacher finds the character dragged back into action when he is arrested for murder. Based on the series of novels by author Lee Child, Season 2 wrapped up earlier this year and finds the heroic nomad on another mission after members of his old military unit start turning up dead.

A third season is now in the works, and it has since been revealed that the next Jack Reacher adventure will be based on the seventh book in the series, “Persuader,” which finds the character going undercover to rescue an informant held by a haunting foe from his past. The third season is all set to add several new characters to the roster, including some villains that will truly challenge Reacher and his action-hero credentials. One such villain is Paulie, who it has now been revealed will be played by Black Widow and Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny star Olivier Richters, aka “The Dutch Giant,” and who’s size and strength will challenge even Jack Reacher himself. As they say, there’s always a bigger fish.
The Reacher Shared Universe Has Now Begun
The Season 4 renewal comes following the recent confirmation that the Reacher universe will expand, with Maria Sten set to return as Frances Neagley and lead her own spin-off series. The currently untitled project (which will surely be called Neagley, Neagley: Tales from the Reacher Saga, or something to that effect) has now been given the series order by Prime Video.
