‘R U Subsequent?’ Proclaims Lineup for 6-Member Lady Group I’LL-IT – Why Are Followers Sad?

BE:LIFT Lab’s new girl group I’LL-IT finally took off the veil of its six members! Amid the excitement of viewers, a lot of K-pop fans expressed their frustrations regarding the final debuting lineup.

On September 1, the six members of HYBE’s new girl group, “I’LL-IT” (I Will Be It) were officially announced through the finale of its audition program, “R U Next?”.

While ten members took the stage ahead of the announcement of the debuting lineup, it was announced that only six members would be able to secure their debut ticket.

During the broadcast, SNSD Sooyoung announced Wonhee as the first member of the soon-to-debut girl group after ranking first based on public voting, while Youngseo was chosen second place.

Regarding the members chosen by the agency and judges, Sooyoung announced the third member Minju, followed by Iroha in fourth place. Moka and Yunah completed the top 6 after ranking fifth and sixth, respectively.

First, a lot were heavily disappointed that “ace” trainees such as Jeemin and Jiwoo would not debut in I’LL-IT.

Fans are pointing out that there are a lot of participants who were included in the debuting lineup that they think weren’t ready yet and are lacking skills.

Overseas netters criticized the program and judges as well for not allowing global voting in the finale. Web users continue to accuse “R U Next?” of rigging the show due to the “disappointing” lineup.

On the other hand, “R U Next?” which first aired on June 30, had 22 trainees from BE:LIFT Lab become “global K-pop stars” participating and competing fiercely in each episode.
