Oasis’ former guitarist Noel Gallagher recently revealed why he had a ‘revenge’ plan against Adele while chatting to Matt Morgan.
Gallagher first revealed why he had a feud with the singer in the first place, stating:
“She sent someone over to f*cking ask, ‘Did I want to meet her?’ That’s what riled me. I’m not one for causing a scene; just stick it in the vault and just think revenge is a dish best served cold.”
Still, when the host asked if it’d be possible for him to collab with the ‘Someone Like You’ singer one day, Noel didn’t rule out the possibility. He said:
“If I fall out of love with touring, I could see myself just sitting at home writing songs and sending them to my publishers. I might in the future. I’ll be saying, ‘Get Adele to sing that. Don’t call until she’s done the guide vocal.’”
Gallagher made the headlines in 2015 when he slammed Adele, saying her music was for ‘grannies.’ He also defended his words over the years, stating he was free to just say whatever came to mind whenever he listened to his fellow Brit singing.
However, Noel isn’t the only rocker who had a ‘feud’ with the ‘Rolling In The Deep’ singer, as you can check out here why Blur singer, and Oasis’ once-biggest-rival, Damon Albarn also had a huge fallout with Adele.
