Nita Strauss just got married to Josh Villalta.
The guitarist tied to knot to her long-time boyfriend, drummer and manager Villalta, on Saturday, May 4th. The two got married at The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel in LA.
The guest list included Nita’s bandmates Alice Cooper and Chuck Garric. In addition to them, Disturbed’s David Draiman, John Moyer and their partners joined. Plus, Demi Lovato and her fiancé Jordan Lutes were there too.
Lovato shared the good news on her Instagram story.
Draiman Covered Metallica
The ceremony didn’t just end with the couple tying the knot. The Disturbed frontman took to the stage to cover Metallica’s ‘Enter Sandman.’
Draiman shared a part of the cover on his official Instagram account. A few commented that he should collaborate with Metallica on their next album.
Strauss Wanted The Wedding To Be Special
Villalta and Strauss crossed paths back in 2011 in the Rainbow Bar & Grill’s parking lot in West Hollywood, thanks to a mutual friend, Mike Taft. In 2023, Villalta popped the question to Nita at the release party for her latest solo album, ‘The Call Of The Void,’ in California.
Strauss explained that the couple wanted the wedding to feel like them:
“[We wanted] the wedding to feel like ‘us.’ We didn’t want a cookie-cutter ceremony or reception that you could see in any bridal magazine — we wanted every aspect of the day and the experience to reflect us as a couple.”
