Nicola Coughlan is the moment.
As Bridgerton‘s third season continues to top the Netflix charts, Coughlan, 36, remains the diamond of the season — and her sparkle is on full display in SKIMS’ latest campaign.
On June 17, the actress made her SKIMS debut in a dreamy, floral campaign lensed by Elizaveta Porodina, who called her “a queen and a painting, a muse and a goddess” in her post announcing the project.
Porodina is known for her ethereal, editorial style — and this shoot was no different, inspiring online comparisons to renaissance paintings.
In the campaign, the Derry Girls star is a work of art, modeling the Kim Kardashian-owned company’s soft lounge dress in an otherworldly, floral setting. As a post from the brand summarizes, the shoot is “everyone’s favorite romantic lead meets our viral dress.”
Gone are the frilly, structured gowns and restricting corsets Coughlan dons as her beloved Bridgerton character Penelope Featherington, a.k.a. Lady Whistledown.
Instead, the actress wears the long slip dress from SKIMS’ soft lounge collection — seemingly in limited-edition shades lemonade and bone — as she drapes herself across the dreamy, blush pink backdrop.
In another image, she swaps the strapless dress for the brand’s long sleeve dress in shade heather grey, laying across the frame — and, intentionally or otherwise, evoking a pose she struck in one of her and costar Luke Newton’s steamiest seasons from this past season.
And, after sharing one of the campaign images on her own Instagram, Coughlan received some love from her Bridgerton family, with the show’s official account commenting, “Rather dazzling, my dear ✨,” and costar Simone Ashley adding, “😮😮😮😍😍😍😍❤️❤️❤️❤️.”
In a statement, longtime Kardashian fan Coughlan said she is “so honoured to be in SKIMS latest campaign!”
“I’ve been a fan of SKIMS since the beginning. It’s been my on set lounging outfit since day one,” the star added. “I love that it’s a brand that makes everyone look and feel amazing. The Soft Lounge styles are incredibly flattering, comfortable, and so soft, and so beautiful. Whether I’m wearing them at home or on set I always feel incredible in SKIMS.”
As a longtime Bridgerton and Coughlan stan, Kardashian said that the campaign is a “a full circle moment!”
“Nicola is such an inspiration on screen and beyond,” the SKIMS founder said in a statement, “and she really brought the campaign to life with her undeniable beauty and energy.”

Coughlan and Kardashian’s friendship dates back to the regency-era drama’s first season, when the reality star fangirled about the series. The fashion mogul even asked the actress to attend one of the show’s fashion fittings — which included corsets made by Mr. Pearl, who created the viral corset Kardashian wore to the 2019 Met Gala.
In 2021, Coughlan shared a post on X (formerly Twitter), and asked: “As the world’s number one @bridgerton Stan does @KimKardashian know that the Kardashians were a massive inspiration for the Featheringtons and we talked about them all the time during our fittings?”
In response, Kardashian wrote, “WHAT?!?! I am freaking out!!!!!! This tweet was sent to me on my @bridgerton group chat! Can I please come to a fitting?!?! It would make my whole life!!!!!! I love you Lady W!!!”
And, as Coughlan previously revealed to Entertainment Weekly, the stars kept the conversation going in their Instagram DMs, with the Bridgerton actress wishing Kardashian luck ahead of her Saturday Night Live hosting gig.
