New Vixen singer Rosa Laricchiuta recently shared an emotional statement about her first show with the band.
Laricchiuta joined Vixen after Lorraine Lewis left the band in late May.
She performed live with Vixen for the first time on June 21 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California with Great White, Slaughter, and Quiet Riot. The new singer said her first show with the band was ‘an amazing experience.’ She wrote:
“I am so excited for the journey ahead as a part of the VIXEN family. My very first show alongside such incredible musicians was an amazing experience, and I couldn’t be happier! Thank you all for your heartfelt messages, emails, and overwhelming support. Your attention and pictures mean the world to me. I can’t wait to see you at our next show.”
Another Rocker Was Rumored To Be The New Singer
Lorraine Lewis, the Vixen singer, left the band in late May. After her departure, the rumor spread that the former Skid Row frontman Erik Grönwall would be the new singer of the band. Grönwall responded to the claims with a photoshopped picture of him as a member of Vixen and wrote on his social media accounts:
“A friend of mine made this picture for me. Apparently, the band Vixen is (or was) looking for a new singer and he thought I’d be a good fit. Thoughts on this? And yes my friend… revenge is a dish best served cold. You know who you are. I’m coming for you.”
