Liam Gallagher has teased that Oasis may release new music after their upcoming tour.
The rocker took to X and responded to a fan who asked, “When’s the new Oasis album coming?”
“Let’s get the gigs done 1st BJAYSUS,” Gallagher responded. The rocker’s response caused speculations that the two brothers might be saving some new songs for the reunion tour.
“I’m sure Noel’ve [written] loads of Oasis style songs and planned for the reunion for a long time just waited the right time am I right Liam?,” a sure asked. “So the album comes next, confirmed,” another user added.
The band’s reunion shows next summer follow a nearly 16-year break. They split in 2009 after Liam threw a plum at Noel during a gig in Paris. While they haven’t explained how they repaired their relationship, fans are curious if old tensions will resurface when they hit the stage again.
The rockers haven’t released new music since their 2008 release ‘Dig Out Your Soul.’
The band is scheduled to play seven concerts at Wembley Stadium next summer, along with shows in Manchester, Cardiff, Edinburgh, and Dublin. They will then hit Canada, the U.S., Mexico, and Australia for more shows.
