Millie Bobby Brown showed up to New York Comic Con yesterday (October 17) to promote her new movie The Electric State, and her look is best described as disco ball chic. What we have here is a shimmery silver turtleneck (it’s Fall, warmth is essential) paired with short shorts and semi-sheer black tights.
The Electric State is directed by the Russo brothers, and stars Millie as well as Chris Pratt. Per , the film follows Michelle (played by Millie) and her robot who team up with an “eccentric drifter” (played by Chris Pratt) on a trip to find her brother in a “retro-futuristic U.S.”
“I had never done anything like this before,” Millie said during the panel. “It was very different. As an actor, it challenged me… The Russos did such a beautiful job in directing my trajectory … I kept going back to the Russos, ‘how do you want me to play this and that?’ We really found it together.”
She added that the movie “truly takes you on a journey. Escapism is huge, and I think it’s so lovely for families to have that moment where they’re able to take themselves out of this world that is so scary and put themselves into a world that is so transformative.”
The Electric State hits Netflix on March 14. Check out the trailer below:
