Creed reunited after a 12-year hiatus, and now they are back with plans for new music.
In a new interview with Rock Feed, the band discussed their first show in over a decade. During the chat, Mark Tremonti revealed the band’s plans. He said people have been asking for new music for so long and that they have a few things for it:
“It’s been something that people have been asking us for years about new music, so it’s just a matter of us getting back together be in the same room because it’s always a matter of timing for us. This cruise was 3 years in the making now so everything happened so quickly, it was so rapid fire, it was stuff that’s actually get music done for the surround of things but I’m sure the next time we get back out we’re going to have to have new music and everybody’s been asking for it.”

There were already some comeback rumors before the band returned. When they did return, the rockers shared that their first gig back would be on their very own festival cruise.
The band kicked off the set with the song ‘Are You Ready?’ They followed up with fan favorites like ‘Torn,’ ‘My Own Prison,’ and ‘Weathered.’
The set wrapped up with sing-alongs like ‘With Arms Wide Open’ and ‘Higher.’ The band and the audience also celebrated Tremonti’s 50th birthday.
Though there are no more details about new music for now, we might have some more information about it anytime soon.
