The new song by Marilyn Manson named ‘As Sick As The Secrets Within’ got fans’ approval.
It is the singer’s first release with his new deal with Nuclear Blast Records. In the comment section, fans generally seemed to like the track. One fan wrote:
“His voice, the lyrics. He sounds so good!! He’s sober, healthy, and better than ever! I can’t wait to see him next month.”
Other Comments On The Song
Another commenter believes Manson hasn’t sounded this good since the early 2000s:
“He honestly has not sounded this good since the early 2000’s in my opinion. This is exactly the sort of songs that made me obsessed with his music to begin with, and I am taken aback by how emotional this made me. Fearing the glory days were over for my favorite artist of all time, an artist that opened my eyes to a whole new world of music, art and literature, and in some ways helped shape the person I am today, was really affecting me more than I realized until I heard this track and felt this huge feeling of relief over hearing such a solid track from the man himself.”
One other person also found his voice really good:
“Music doesn’t make me feel much these days. But hearing Manson sounding clean, healthy, and 20+ years younger has filled my heart with such emotional joy. Welcome back, Brian. The glory days are back! Congratulations.”
Manson Will Release A Full Album
In May, news of a partnership with Nuclear Blast came shortly after rumors that Manson had finished a new album. Before ‘As Sick As The Secrets Within,’ the rocker’s latest release was 2020’s ‘We Are Chaos’ LP.
He’s also releasing new music for the first time since sexual abuse allegations paused his career. He had previously shared a short clip of his new song. In it, Manson whispered, ‘Keep sleeping / I’ll make you dream of me,’ but the song title hadn’t been given.
The musician is preparing for his upcoming tour. Manson’s 30-date tour with Five Finger Death Punch starts on August 2 at Hersheypark Stadium in Hershey, Pennsylvania, and ends on September 19 in Houston, Texas.
