Manowar bassist Joey DeMaio has interviewed one of his rocker friends he sued before.
In an interview he shared on his YouTube channel, the rocker introduced his friend with an interesting series of words. The introduction included the one time the two sued each other. Although DeMaio and the rocker had a bumpy relationship in the past, they are ‘like brothers’ today. DeMaio revealed:
“We have had our ups and downs, we’ve played in bands, we’ve had arguments, we’ve fought like brothers, we even sued each other. And we are closer friends today than we have ever been. It is truly my pleasure and my honor to have the one, the only living legend Rock Feinstein.”
The legal feud was not made public and no one else but them knows what the two sued each other about for now.
What DeMaio Thinks Of Feinstein’s Musical Direction
DeMaio and Feinstein’s friendship extended into each other’s music careers. DeMaio discussed Feinstein’s debut album ‘Third Wish’ and its musical direction in an earlier conversation. He called his friend’s album one of the best debut albums in heavy metal history:
“I’ve known Rock (David Feinstein) for many years and I knew of his great potential, so naturally when I first heard how great this album is, it was no surprise! In fact it may be known as one of the best debut albums in heavy metal history. If you are a Manowar, Dio or Black Sabbath fan, you will find it impossible to take this CD out of your home stereo or your car!”
