Limp Bizkit dropped an AI music video for their song ‘Turn It Up, B*tch’ from their 2021 album, ‘Still Sucks.’
It is a fully AI-generated video and uses deepfake technology to put the Bizkit band members into scenes from ‘Miami Vice,’ ‘Knight Rider,’ and other pop culture references. The music video mixes the band’s hip-hop style with ’80s themes. Fred Durst, Wes Borland, Sam Rivers, John Otto, and DJ Lethal appear as iconic ’80s TV, movie, and music figures.
Limp Bizkit Has An Upcoming Tour
It shows them also like glam rockers, wrestlers, and Rambo. In the caption of the video, the band mentioned their upcoming Loserville 2024 tour. Limp Bizkit starts their Welcome To Loserville Tour on July 16 in Somerset, WI.
The tour has diverse openers like Bones with Eddy Baker & Xavier Wulf, N8NOFACE, and Corey Feldman. Riff Raff will host an MC each night. The group also released a 17-minute video for the tour. In the clip, Durst and Borland try to interview Bones, Eddy Baker, N8NOFACE, Feldman, and Riff Raff together, but it quickly becomes chaotic.
Riff Raff worries about catering and his scooter delivery, while Borland wants specific bananas, and Feldman insists on his serious bodyguard. The conversation is funny, with highlights like Feldman’s odd M&M request and his scooter prank on Riff Raff. Durst says:
“If anyone comes to this tour, they are in the wrong place at the right time, and absolutely a gathering of losers is what this is going to be.”
They Released Another AI Video Before
This isn’t the band’s first experience with AI-generated videos. In May, Limp Bizkit released a country version of their 2000 song ‘Break Stuff.’ Durst shared the track on his Instagram story along with two AI photos of himself as a country musician. Limp Bizkit also posted it on their official account with a message:
“Yep, just one of those days.”
The band used AI to change their song into a country style. In the video, we see AI photos of each band member transformed into country musicians, noticeable from their hairstyles and outfits.
