It might not look like the Gallagher brothers are getting along, but it sure looks like Liam cares about Noel.
Noel turned down the chance to reunite for a tour marking the 30th anniversary of Definitely Maybe. But recently, a user on X revealed that Liam hasn’t given up hope for patching things up with his brother.
The user shared a photo of a sign on a seat that read:
“RESERVED NOEL GALLAGHER.”
Liam Leaves A Seat For Every Show
A few days later, Liam responded to a now-private tweet asking if he reserves a seat for Noel at every show. He replied:
“Yes, you never know.”
Noel Turned The Offer Down
In an interview with MOJO in February, Liam talked about the possibility of reuniting with his brother for the 30th anniversary of ‘Definitely Maybe.’ Liam confirmed that a lot of money was offered to Noel for the reunion, but he still turned it down:
“I did call him! Well, my people called Noel’s management team. We put an offer on the table for an Oasis thing – because we got offered it – and he said no. It was a big tour and a lot of money. He turned it down. I get it; he’s got a divorce going down. I’ll do the ‘Definitely Maybe’ thing and have a nice time without him.”
Even though he turned the offer down at the beginning, it’s unclear whether he did or would go to see any of the shows.
