Liam Gallagher talked about Oasis’ rumored secret Super Bowl performance on X.
“Rasta, are you going to sing at the Super Bowl?” one user asked the singer with the photo of the supposed setlist that Liam replied to. Gallagher gave a vague answer, saying, “How’s that leaked ffs.”
Earlier this week, it was announced that Kendrick Lamar will headline the 2025 NFL Super Bowl LIX Halftime show in New Orleans on February 9. This will be the 11th time the event is held there. The announcement came after Oasis revealed their comeback and 2025 tour dates.
Now, there are rumors about Oasis and Lamar performing together at the Super Bowl. A leaked image of a setlist has been shared on social media. The setlist includes Lamar’s hits ‘Alright’ and ‘Humble,’ as well as songs by Kero Kero Bonito. The encore might feature Oasis and Kero Kero Bonito joining Lamar to perform ‘Rock & Roll Star.’
Oasis recently updated fans about the private ticket ballot for their final Wembley Stadium reunion shows. “Fans selected in the private ballot have now been contacted with on-sale information and the code for the ticket sale,” the band wrote on X in a statement.
They added, “Codes were sent via the email address associated with their Ticketmaster account and ballot registration. Demand for these shows is unprecedented. A code does not guarantee tickets. Tickets will be sold on a first come first serve basis.”
Oasis’ comeback tour next summer had a huge demand. Fans waited in long online queues. Over 10 million fans from 158 countries tried to get tickets, causing issues for ticket platforms. There was controversy over price hikes, leading to complaints and calls for reviews.
Twickets decided to limit their fees. So, the Gallagher brothers announced this new ticket sale method for those who missed out. Fans who logged into Ticketmaster on August 31 and joined the queue but didn’t buy tickets could enter a special ballot for tickets.
