Liam Gallagher took to X and talked about why he and Noel are afraid of doing interviews.
“I think Noel doesn’t want to do interviews with you because you’re funnier,” a fan wrote to the singer. “We don’t want to do interviews coz we’re scared of the media asking us intrusive questions and trying to pick holes in our relationship,” Liam replied.
Oasis announced they were getting back together in August after a long feud between Liam and Noel, which started when they split in 2009. The split happened after a fight between them at the Rock en Seine festival in France.
While there are no official plans for new music yet, they have been announcing many concerts in the UK, Ireland, Australia, the US, and Mexico. When they announced the UK shows, the brothers told fans these would be their only concerts in Europe and said they would not play any festivals next year.
No joint interviews between the brothers have been planned, and it looks like there won’t be any soon. However, they have spoken about their relationship separately in public.
Liam often shares his thoughts with fans on social media. After a short break from X, he has been active again and responded to a fan asking if he would stop ‘tweeting sh*t about Noel.’
“Nope it’s all done, peace has prevailed, he’s the man,” the rocker said. “I can’t wait to be on stage with him blowing him kisses in between each song.” This led another person to ask, “Is Noel still a potato?”
This is a long-running joke that Liam has used to insult his brother. “No he is bloody well not. I won’t have a bad word said about that gorgeous talented young man,” Liam replied.
Besides the current dates in the UK, North America, South America, and Australia, it is rumored that the band will announce shows in more cities worldwide. New dates will be coming for South Korea, Japan, Brazil, Chile, and Argentina.
