Laura Dern Did This One Simple Thing to Make Her Shirtdress Even More Cozy for Fall

One outfit I’m hoping makes its way from just a picture on my Pinterest board to an IRL iteration is Laura Dern’s Barbiecore-meets-boho look. On September 30, the Big Little Lies actress wore a black midi shirtdress that looked a lot like Meghan Markle’s Invictus Games pick with a fall-friendly turtleneck that made her outfit more colorful (and toasty). 

She also pulled out a pair of cowboy boots — the shoe trend I still never expect to see even though Katie Holmes and other stars have been spotted in them — and a chunky belt that pulled the outfit together.
