TheCloser star, 58, took a walk down fashion memory lane on the latest episode of and revealed whether she would keep the outfits today by saying “Versace” or set fire to them in a “Hibachi.”
One of the styles up for inspection was the actress’ 1997 look, in which she wore a white tank top paired with silver, shiny pants and an equally shiny jacket in pastel blue. She accessorized the look with a short pearl necklace layered over a longer necklace.
“That was my coming out party when Joan Rivers was like, ‘Oh my god. That was the worst outfit,’ “ Sedgwick recalled on the show. “I know the designer, but I’ll spare her.”

“Will you torch it though?” host asked, to which she responded, “Torch that!”
Another outfit up for judgment was a blouse and skirt combo that she wore at the 1993 . She wore a cream-colored satin top with a lengthy black skirt and matching black shoes. She completed the look with a portrait necklace, silver diamond bracelet and a small golden clutch.
“Someone invited me to the Oscars and then left me. Well, he won and then left me for the rest of the night,” Sedgwick shared. “So, I would like to torch that.”

“Okay, was that a date?” Cohen asked. “No, it was a ‘friend,’ “ she said while making air quotes with her fingers, prompting the audience to let out a disappointed “awww.”
“Was it an actor?” the host said, to which she replied, “No.”

However, there were some looks that actress admitted she still loves to this day, including a black V-neck lace dress with her hair styled in a sleek ponytail that she wore to an event in 2002, and a sparkly top and black bottom combo with matching silver belts she donned for a 2000 VH1 event.
Sedgwick said she especially loved her 1996 Golden Globes outfit which consisted of a red sweetheart dress with a matching red velvet-colored shawl.
“I look like a [1940’s] movie star, definitely keep that,” she said.
She also shared that she would keep her long white gown from the 1997 ESPY Awards and a black Diane Von Furstenberg dress with red sash that she wore to the Tribeca Film Festival in 2002.
