The singer jetted from Las Vegas to walk the red carpet alongside fashion’s finest in N.Y.C. on Monday night

Ten years after she last attended the , returned to the “red” carpet on May 6 wearing a slinky semi-sheer gown designed Diesel creative director Glenn Martens.
Honoring the theme of the night, Martens the dress, which was made from a devoré denim knit and features thousands of glittering micro crystals, is meant to look as though the “Padam” singer had been sleeping in it for hundreds of years, “leaving parts of the fabric dissolved around her body’s contours.”
“The dress feels at once glamorous and mysterious, and it harbours a hidden tale, crafted using incredible techniques to look like an organic yet sparkling interpretation of my ‘slept-in’ being,” Minogue added.

Far from having been asleep, however, the pop superstar, 55, is fresh from at Voltaire at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas, where was spotted in the crowd this weekend.

Minogue first attended the Met Gala in 2013, wearing a strapless black-and-white gown by Moschino for the year’s “PUNK: Chaos to Couture” theme. The next year, she attended alongside and then-Marchesa designers Keren Craig and Georgina Chapman in an ethereal white gown by the pair for the “Charles James: Beyond Fashion” themed event.
The singer has been having a moment lately: in addition to her Vegas residency, she joined in March; was honored with this past International Women’s Day; slayed ; (her second!) in February; and the recent 2024 .
“To have this moment where it feels like it was meant to be, but it wasn’t something that I was aiming for, feels so refreshing and amazing to, once again, like in the ’80s, . It’s truly beautiful and heartwarming,” Minogue told reporters at an industry event in October. “It’s been a lifetime of work. There’s a lot of people, lots of love, ups and downs and everything in between. I think I love it more than I’ve ever loved it.”
To that end, she with PEOPLE on the red carpet at the Billboard Women in Music Awards in March: “There’s one of you.”

I kind of want to say be the best you, but also you don’t have to be the best all the time, just be you. Do you at all different stages of your life.”
